Dear Members & Friends of Enniskerry FC, 

Every year Enniskerry FC travels to Stennweiler in Germany for our annual soccer camp. 

The football club in the village of Stennweiler – SV Stennweiler – are celebrating their 100th anniversary this year and have now officially asked us to visit them for a week across our August Bank Holiday weekend.

Whilst the full details of the 2024 trip are still being finalised, we are advanced enough at this stage to start taking registrations for the trip, commencing on Thursday 1st February, on a first come, first served basis. 

For those interested in learning more, we will be hosting an information meeting on Zoom with our host and club legend, Andreas Traem, on Monday 29th January at 8pm.

The key points around the camp are as follows:

• The trip itself will be for 7 days. The specific dates will be agreed based on numbers, flight options and costs, but will take place within the time window of Monday 29th July to Saturday 10th August
• The trip will be open to boys and girls who are born between 2008 to 2014.
• All children going on the trip need to be current registered members of the club in 2024.
• A minimum of 35 children must travel, but we will also need a minimum number of adults to travel, for which the trip is most definitely NOT a holiday – as there will be lots of work required from all adults travelling to ensure that the trip can be a big success. All adults going on the trip must be fully Garda vetted with the club (current dated) well in advance of the trip.
• We will be camping in tents adjacent to the SV Stennweiler pitch and facilities as has been the case in recent camps there.
• Bookings will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and parents wishing to travel to help on the trip must register at this point as well.
• Price is €395 per person; this can be paid in full on booking or over four monthly installments. This price per person covers flights, bus transfers in Germany, full accommodation and meals.
• Bookings can be made from Thursday 1st February on ClubZap. An email will go out informing all club members when registration is open.
